The transition towards a sustainable future requires innovative approaches to resource management. Our project proposes to integrate circular economy principles into wastewater management to treat and recycle water, reclaim resources, reduce environmental impact, and foster economic benefits.
Phase 1: Research and identify potential byproducts for recovery, such as phosphorus and nitrogen.
Phase 2: Pilot a small-scale system to test the feasibility of new treatment technologies, including biofilters and membrane bioreactors.
Phase 3: Conduct a lifecycle assessment to analyze the environmental impacts and perform a cost-benefit analysis of the proposed system.
