This awareness seminar will be a great opportunity to learn about the SWaTH project at the Lebanese American University from the Dean of Students, Dr. Jad Abdallah; the types and disposal of pharmaceutical waste from the Lebanese Deputy Quality Control Manager at Benta, Mrs. Joelle Kawerk; the pharmaceutical waste treatment and minimization strategies from the Research and Development pharmacist at Benta, Dr. Antonio El Hajj; the Industrial wastewater management from Professor Mahmoud Wazne; the Cytotoxic medication policies and procedures in hospitals from the Clinical Instructor, Dr. Carl Aoun; the Hospital wastewater baseline assessment results from the SWaTH Coordinator and the Associate Professor Dr. Makram El Bachawati and Dr. Roy Kanbar, respectively.
