UOB wastewater treatment plant

Within the mobility to Lebanon that took place between February 17 and 25, 2022, the European and Lebanese partners visited the wastewater treatment at the University of Balamand. This plant receives the wastewater from the different buildings and students' households. While discussing the treatment process, the team agreed that there is no need to include a biological treatment as the treated water is mainly used for irrigation and agricultural purposes.
